Who I am

This site belongs to Nadine Dohr, trading as Handpoke Me, a self-employed tattoo artist working from Six Bullets Tattoo, London. I'm the data controller for the information described here. You can reach me at handpokeme@gmail.com.

Postal address to be added before launch.

What I collect

When you send an enquiry I collect your name, email address, any phone number or Instagram handle you give me, the details of the tattoo you're asking about, your availability, any budget you choose to share, the reference images you upload and your confirmation that you're 18 or over.

If you accept cookies, I also collect anonymous information about how you found and used this site.

Why I use it

To reply to your enquiry, plan and price your tattoo, arrange your appointment and keep the records a tattoo artist is required to keep. If you tick the marketing box, I'll also send you occasional emails about available dates — you can stop those at any time.

The legal basis is my legitimate interest in responding to people who contact me, and your consent for marketing and for analytics cookies.

Cookies and tracking

Nothing beyond essential cookies loads until you accept on the banner. If you accept, I use Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API, Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads conversion tracking, so I can see which adverts bring people here. These set cookies in your browser and share event data with Meta and Google.

Decline and none of them load. You can change your mind by clearing this site's data in your browser and choosing again.

Who I share it with

My email provider, my booking and client management system, and — only if you accept cookies — Meta and Google. I don't sell your information to anyone.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that don't turn into appointments are deleted after two years. Records relating to a tattoo I've done are kept for as long as required for health, safety and insurance purposes.

Your rights

You can ask me for a copy of what I hold, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to how I'm using it. Email me and I'll deal with it within a month. If you're not happy with my answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
